Welcome

Welcome to the web page of authors Janis and Peter Osborne. Janis has recently written an anthology of her collected newspaper columns that have appeared in Port Jervis, New York's local newspaper, TheGazette from 1982-2002. The book is entitled Put The Dog On the Phone and hence the title of the web page. Peter has written two books on the Depression era’s Civilian Conservation Corps at High Point State Park in Sussex, New Jersey. He also has written other works of regional history. This web page allows you to preview pieces from all of the books, provides information about the authors, how to contact them, lists what they are currently reading and how to contact them or order any of the books.

This site is also home to our consulting firm, Historic Resource Services, a company that provides special history programming such as guided motor coach tours, slide presentations and lectures on a variety of historical topics.

Thank you for visiting the site and if you have any questions please feel free to write us at pathfinder@fcc.net.
